Grand Opening – Pinnacle Productions, Lexington

Pinnacle Productions is opening its doors in downtown Lexington, KY.

The Grand Opening event will be held on Friday, September 10 at the new studio, 620 W Main St. Lexington, KY from 4:00pm to 8:00 pm.

Pinnacle Productions offers its clients high quality video production, website design and audio recording studio services. The in-house studio will accommodate a variety of video and audio production projects. On-location HD video production and several state of the art editing suites round out the vast array of service possibilities.

Pinnacle has created award winning videos for independent, corporate and non-profit clients for over 7 years in KY and around the world. All services are handled in-house from script to final production. ”We have created documentaries, promotional films, music videos, event and concert multi-camera productions and videos for fund raising.”, explains Harl, “We specialize, however, in non-profit fund raising and promotion.” Having spent most of his early career as a development officer and in leadership of non-profit agencies, Harl came to work as a producer with the primary goal of promoting non-profit human services. ”That is my main motivation as a film maker. In addition, we also record albums for local artists and songwriters and are looking forward to becoming involved in the arts and music scene”

The studio is located in Kentucky but staff have traveled all over the US from San Francisco to DC and internationally to some of the most isolated regions of Central America, Guatemala, India and Africa. “We have been so fortunate to have been involved with many incredible organizations”, said Harl, “some right here in Kentucky such as the Christian Appalachian Project.”

Catholic Diocese Capital Campaign

Pinnacle Productions just completed a capital campaign video for the Catholic Diocese of Lexington, “One In Faith and Mission”. The campaign’s goal is to raise $15 million for the parishes, diocese and mission agencies of the diocese. These funds are much needed and are required to meet the expenditures for religious education, priest retirement, vocations, local parish needs, and AMAP (Appalachian Mission Assistance). The funds will also be used to help underwrite the costs of the Father Beiting Appalachian Mission Center, an organization that assists severely impoverished areas of eastern Kentucky.

The video tells the story of each of the areas of need within the diocese. True stories from families who are in great financial and physical need, committed individuals who have dedicated their lives to the church, children receiving high quality Catholic education, and those who have completed decades of passionate service.

We have been truly blessed to have been a part of this project and are hoping that the goals will be exceeded for this campaign. Guidance in Giving, a non-profit capital campaign consulting company is spearheading the effort. “Pinnacle Productions has far exceeded our expectations in terms of bringing the case for support to our local parishes. Pinnacle Wins Telly

Kentucky based film company, Pinnacle Productions, has won the 2009 Telly Award for excellence in film production for Non-Profit organizations. Chosen from the more than 13,000 entries as one of the top videos in its category, this will be Pinnacle’s second Telly, one of the most coveted of all awards for video and film.

Pinnacle received this award for production of a promotional video for the Friends of the Good Samaritans, a non-profit group dedicated to serving India’s children living in extreme poverty by operating a large elementary school and several smaller schools in the slum areas outside New Delhi, India and is based in Stanford, Kentucky. Pinnacle staff traveled to India and filmed on location to produce this award winning video.

“What an incredible experience it was to get to know the Indian children who are among the poorest in the world, yet so full of joy and gratitude, we were so fortunate to be a small part of this important story”, Said David Harl, Producer. “These kids had been attending school in the only place they had which was a working toilet complex and now they have a state of the art school.”

Pinnacle Productions has been working with non-profit agencies both in this country and abroad for years. The studio is located in Kentucky but the staff has traveled all over the US from San Francisco to DC and internationally to some of the poorest and most isolated regions of Central America, Guatemala, India and Africa. “We want to bring the stories of organizations and volunteers working to help some of the poorest people of the world improve their lives to others that can help financially.”, said Harl, who has worked with non-profits as a volunteer, Director and Development officer.
